The music ministry plays a key role in the worship services at St. Stephen’s. What sometimes cannot be said in spoken word, can be sung and understood through music.
Voice Choir: The choir is the music leadership during the 10:30 a.m. service; leading traditional hymns as well as gospel and contemporary worship music. Typically a choir anthem is presented during each 10:30 service. The choir is in session September to June. Choir rehearsals are Thursday evenings, 5:45 p.m., at the church. We always welcome new members.
Bell Choir: Handbells are another way of presenting music to our congregation. Rehearsals are Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. This group is open to many folks who have basic note reading skills . . . we'll take care of the rest!
Special music: Occasionally, and especially during the summer months, the church’s volunteer musicians provide special music Sunday mornings during the 10:30 a.m. service.
