Loaves and Fishes
On the first Saturday of each month, parishioners from St. Stephen's volunteer at the St. Francis Mission Soup Kitchen or “Loaves and Fishes” ; an emergency feeding program through the diocese of Albany. Parishioners contribute funds to buy the food, prep cooks work at the church's kitchen in the morning, and other volunteers cook and serve the dinners at the Mission.
Partnering with Love Bethlehem in community events and programs such as school supply drives, Adopt and Family, Adopt a highway, and adopting families in need during holiday seasons.
Partnering with Episcopal Diocese of Albany led community ministries such as Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York, Healing a Woman's Soul, Interfaith Partnership for the Homeless, and Albany County Department of Youth and Family Services.
Support for Capital District InterVarsity Christian Fellowship helping their student run outreach program minister to college students at RPI and SUNY. Find out more about this vibrant ministry here.
Support for St. Andre Parish and School
St. Stephen's helps to support the Parish and School of St. Andre in Flande Haiti by sponsoring students and helping to pay teachers salaries. See photo gallery below.
