Education for Ministry (Lay Preacher) - In November 2013, St. Stephen's revived the office of Lay Preacher/Lay Worship Leader. The process for licensing as a Lay Preacher/Lay Worship Leader can be found by contacting the Rector. The Diocesan Bishop will have to interview, approve and license each lay minister. The Education for Ministry courses at St. Stephen's are open to anyone, but required for those who wish to be licensed for lay preaching in the parish. There is a total of six courses: Church History, Old Testament, New Testament, Anglican Church History, Book of Common Prayer and the 39 Articles, Homiletics. A Course schedule will be available sometime in early 2014.
